Tuesday: Bittersweet, an I heart post

I don’t like the idea of changing my state, but I make an exception for Bittersweets. The hot chocolate mix comes from Bittersweet Cafe, a place that I frequented when I lived in San Francisco. I loved their wide wooden tables!

Bittersweet makes lots of tasty drinks–peanut butter hot chocolate, salted caramel hot chocolate, white hot chocolate–but my favorite has always been the Bittersweet, their darkest hot chocolate blended with the tiniest bit of water.  No milk, no soy milk–just chocolate.

Now, I have the canisters shipped (a fairly expensive process for an unrepresented writer) and limit my intake to one a week. The combination of chocolate and sugar lends itself to a unique level of productivity, which is something that I’m willing to sacrifice my immune system for once and a while.

I wonder if anyone’s ever dedicated a book to a drink.

  1. I wish I had a good answer to that question. I’ve never come across a book dedicated to a drink, though that might be an interesting read.
