Sunday: Organizing is editing too

I’ve been a little bit paralyzed this last week.  My thoughts are foggy, and I find myself staring at the walls of my apartment more often than usual (they are yellow.)  Even writing an email takes a level of mental astuteness that I seem to have lost, at least temporarily.

These are all empty

This could be because my respiratory system has been taken over by infective agents that are holding strong.  Or maybe I’m just recovering from my editing push.  Either way, when I noticed that I had 13 empty Vitamineral Green (algae powder that apparently does not help ward off the cold virus) bottles in my kitchen cupboard, I realized that I had a minor problem. Could my lack of clarity have something to do with subclinical hoarding?

So, I’m getting to work.  It seems like it can only help.  If I’m not able to see when it’s time to toss empty containers, then how can I be sure that I will be able to see when words, sentences, paragraphs, pages—chapters—need to be deleted? Organizing may only be a symbolic act, but that’s ok!  I like symbols.
