Altercations with words

I’ve got two things that I’d like to happen before I turn 30.

1. Be able to do a hand stand
2. Publish my novel

It’s March 2nd, which means that I’ve got a little less than 9 months. I’m comfortable with this amount of time, but at the same time I understand that neither arm balancing or novel publishing can be rushed.

I’m not sure which goal is the harder of the two.  Hand standing is all on me, but at least when I’m querying agents, there’s no risk of physical harm.
