Saturday: Write what you know when you’re sleep deprived

I only slept for four hours last night, so my first instinct was to hold off on any novel editing until taking a nap.  But then I realized that this might be the perfect state for me to be in while looking through pages 200-250.  This is where things get out of control for my main character (hang on there Olive, you’ll make it through!) and she, too, is exhausted.

I wanted to make this part feel a little more strange and confuse logic and time just a little bit. So I’m here, struggling to keep my eyes open as Olive gets swallowed up by a decaying forest, taken over by fluorescent moss.
